Musing.
To muse is defined as 'to think earnestly or dreamily; to meditate'. Thus to think musingly is to do so in a contemplative manner or mood.
Arguably all thought, certainly all serious thought, should be so defined?
In my own case I have always seen the process as a means of escape from a lifestyle that has always demanded some degree of instantaneousness, usually involving determinates set by others.
The Muses listed are more or less in the order in which they happened; the first about forty years ago: Muse Nine about six or seven years ago. Muse Ten developed as a result of the brevity necessary to contain the Purpose page. Muse Eleven is the latest Muse; it is included not only to lighten the mood of the Site but also because Football may, arguably, for some, be classed as a Religion.
